    IconicSignature drinkNon-alcoholic

A Georgian soft drink made from soda water and natural syrups, mixed to order in a glass at a soda fountain. Flavors listed include quince, pear, citrus, cherry, tarragon and cream. The tarragon flavor is bright green.

Wikipedia says the pharmacist's apprentice Mitrofan Lagidze began working with natural syrups in Kutaisi in 1887, and the Lagidze Brothers plant blended proprietary herb and fruit flavors from 1900. The technology and culture of Lagidze Waters was inscribed on Georgia's Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2014. A first brand shop opened on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi in 1906, per Live the World.

Made with: sparkling water, natural fruit or tarragon syrup.
