    Panty Ripper

    PopularSignature drink

A two-ingredient Belizean drink of Kuknat coconut rum and pineapple juice. Belizeans say its name in Creole as Panti Rippa, and Hamanasi counts it among five signature Belizean drinks.

No source opened for this entry explains the name. Chaa Creek's blog gives the Creole spelling Panti Rippa and a recipe of 2 to 3 ounces of Kuknat coconut rum with fresh pineapple juice, and says Kuknat is made by Travellers Liquors in Belize. Hamanasi lists it with Belikin beer, Cranbarrel, rum punch and Caribbean Gold rum as signature Belizean drinks, and calls it sweet, smooth and a taste of the tropics.

Made with: Kuknat coconut rum, pineapple juice.
