Barbados
I have one sourced drink connected to Barbados. The label on each card says how: where it began, what the country is known for, what people drink there, or where the origin is disputed.

Signature drinks and regional ones, with the evidence behind each. A drink marked non-alcoholic has no alcohol in the traditional serve.

Bajan Rum Punch
IconicSignature drink
A rum punch built to a rhyme: one of sour, two of sweet, three of strong, four of weak. That means one part lime, two parts sweetener, three parts rum and four parts water. It is served over ice with a dash or two of Angostura bitters and nutmeg grated on top.
Punch (drink) on Wikipedia calls it one of the oldest rum punches and says its recipe is known through a national rhyme, without giving a source or date for the rhyme. Jonathan Ray of The Spectator, after a visit to Mount Gay's distillery in Barbados, writes that he was taught their mantra for the perfect rum punch, the same one-two-three-four ratio, though he doubts it, saying it has too much weak. The age of the rhyme is not documented.
Made with: Barbadian rum, lime juice, sugar syrup or grenadine, water, Angostura bitters, nutmeg.
